Lent
Personal and Congregational Transformation (4:00 pm every Sunday of Lent)
Each Sunday of Lent Linda will be presenting material about personal and congretational transformation. We will be using "And Still We Rise" an excellent resource that includes scripture, interesting topics for conversation and spirital practices. This is not a lecture series! It is an opportunity for us to share our hopes and dreams, our faith journeys, and our lives. I hope you will plan to attend every session as we meet together each Sunday afternoon in Lent.
Prayer Groups
Linda is encouraging each of us to join a prayer group. Each group will select its own time to meet, share your personal lives and pray for the church, each other and our community. I am asking each group to meet 10 times between Ash Wednesday and Pentecost. A prayer guide will be provided for each group to help you focus your time together. These groups can be an integral part of renewing our church.
Sunday March 16th: Palm Sunday Worship
Thursday March 20th: Maundy Thursday Service at the First Presbyterian Church in Cordell
Friday March 21st: Prayer Vigil 6:30 am to 6:30 pm
Friday March 21st: Good Friday Service at 7:00 pm
