Laura Lee Julian

Director of Music

Ms. Laura Julian comes from Michigan's Upper Peninsula, where she first embraced classical music and decided to make it a lifelong endeavor. After growing up in a rural community as a pastor's daughter, playing for church and providing special music from a very early age, she studied vocal performance and piano for her undergraduate music degree at Northern Michigan University. Laura's graduate work at Western Michigan University focused on vocal performance, holistic health, and music therapy.

Before moving to Oklahoma, Ms. Julian has worked as a hospice music therapist, as a contracted music therapist for memory care units, and as a business owner with an eclectic client base of teens with anxiety disorders and adults with dementia. She also enjoyed teaching voice lessons for many years, and played professional piano for high school choirs, dinners, weddings, and community events and dinners. Laura is so happy to land here at Federated Church and is thrilled to serve the church and community with music!
